1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing any product from Aon Alta ("we," "us," "our"), whether online or in person, you ("customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not make a purchase.

2. About Aon Alta

Aon Alta is an incorporated business specializing in original science fiction artwork, including the "Jack the Space Dog" series and related merchandise. All artwork and designs are created by and remain the property of Aon Alta.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

All artwork, images, designs, and creative content are the original intellectual property of Aon Alta and are protected by copyright law. Aon Alta retains all intellectual property rights and reproduction rights to all artwork, even after the sale of original paintings, prints, or merchandise.

What You CAN Do

When you purchase a product from us, you receive:

  • The physical item (print, merchandise, or original artwork) for personal use
  • The right to display the item in your home or office
  • The right to resell the specific physical item you purchased (as a collectible)

What You CANNOT Do

You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, copy, or create derivatives of our artwork in any form
  • Use our images for commercial purposes
  • Print, manufacture, or distribute copies of our artwork
  • Share, post, or distribute digital images of our artwork without explicit written permission from Aon Alta
  • Use our artwork in any digital or physical media without written authorization
  • Claim ownership of the intellectual property or reproduction rights

Important: Purchasing an original painting does NOT transfer reproduction rights. Aon Alta retains all rights to create prints, merchandise, or any reproductions of the artwork.

Written Authorization

Any use of our images or artwork beyond personal display of your purchased item requires explicit written permission from Aon Alta. Requests should be submitted to aonalta@gmail.com.

4. Product Information & Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However:

  • Colors in prints may vary slightly from digital images due to monitor settings and printing processes
  • Original artwork photos may not capture all details visible in person
  • We reserve the right to modify products, discontinue items, or correct errors in descriptions or pricing

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in U.S. Dollars
  • Payment is due at the time of purchase
We accept credit cards and paypal:
  • Applicable sales tax will be added to purchases as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, though changes will not affect orders already placed

6. Shipping & Delivery (For Online/Shipped Orders)

  • Shipping timeframes are estimates, not guarantees
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses
We ship within the United States currently.

7. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our separate Return & Refund Policy for merchandize. In summary:

  • 30-day return window for unused items with tags attached
  • Customer pays return shipping
  • Damaged or defective items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to customer
  • Contact aonalta@gmail.com to initiate returns
  • This does not apply to original pieces of artwork

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our products or services for any unlawful purpose
  • Reproduce or redistribute our copyrighted artwork
  • Misrepresent any association with Aon Alta
  • Create or sell counterfeit versions of our products
  • Violate any intellectual property rights outlined in Section 3

9. Limited Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Products are sold "as-is" for in-person sales
  • Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of products or online services

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aon Alta from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms of Service, including unauthorized use or reproduction of our intellectual property.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Arkansas.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting for online sales, or upon notice for in-person sales. Continued purchase of our products constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, along with our Return & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aon Alta regarding your purchases.
