The Orion Edition is the first Pulsar edition. Each painting has 10 prints, and this edition will not be reprinted.

The Source is the first painting completed entirely in Aon's Plus Ultra style: extreme depth, layered color and fractal geometry. Up close, it is a technological landscape of crystalline structures and glowing energy cores. From a distance, the whole composition forms the outline of a human heart — the source of power the title refers to.

The fractals are hand-painted, without computer assistance. The painting establishes the architecture of the lost civilization at the center of Jack the Space Dog, and every painting in the series since has followed from it.
